Both Collections and Items can inherit property preferences from their respective parent entities.
For example, if a Collection is set to inherit parent preferences, it will automatically adopt the Purchase Order and Purchase Preferences from its Business Unit. The same inheritance applies to International Shipping and Customs settings.
If an Item inherits from its parent Collection, and that collection is also inheriting from its parent Business Unit, then the Item will ultimately use the property settings defined at the Business Unit level.
