Setting Topic Restrictions is one of the advantages of being a Course Administrator.
This allows you to choose which topics you would like your students to cover throughout the course.
There are different types of Certification Requirements you can set for each chapter. You can update these topics in the Course Settings of the Admin Hub you are administering. By selecting different combinations of Locked and Selected, you can have different Settings per chapter of a course.
Selecting a chapter allows you to choose which chapters you would like your students to take. Keeping it unselected allows the student to choose if they would like to complete the chapter for additional topics on their certificate. Locking a chapter enforces your selection. For example, a locked and selected chapter indicates that it must be completed to receive a certificate. An unlocked and selected chapter indicates that you would like the student to complete it, but they don't need to receive their certificate.
