Inmark and Saf-T-Pak are committed to delivering the best possible user experience to all our customers interacting with us on the web. We love this challenge, but we're encountering some unique hurdles that not all companies face. Many of our customers and users access our applications and websites from within their heavily secured networks. Additionally, because of the cost of providing this sort of security, many customers are not the first to adopt the new technologies we use at home, which gives us the great online experience we are used to in our personal lives.
We understand some of our customers are still using Internet Explorer 11, and many are moving to newer operating systems and modern, more secure browsers for a safer, more pleasant online experience.
As we continually make decisions about what is best for our customers, we've laid out an Internet Explorer 11 support timeline.
-
August 9, 2019:
- We transitioned Internet Explorer to secondary support. We'll evaluate our customers' needs and listen to their feedback as we transition away from Internet Explorer 11 alongside them.
-
January 14, 2020:
- Microsoft will discontinue extended support for Windows 7, making Windows 10 the primary operating system. While we expect some of our customers to continue using Windows 7 after this date, the majority of our users will be on Windows 10, where they will, by default, have a browser installed on their computer other than Internet Explorer, that browser being Microsoft Edge.
- We will provide secondary support for an indeterminate period and work alongside customers experiencing issues with Internet Explorer 11 who have no other browser available.
-
Date TBD:
- We will cease support for Internet Explorer 11. If you continue to use Internet Explorer 11, you do so at your own risk and may not receive the quality of service Inmark and Saf-T-Pak promise on all other supported web browsers.
