When creating Business Units, keep these two key considerations in mind:
- Security: Users invited to order packaging and ship through Inmark SaaS will be assigned to the Business Units you define. Consider any access controls or segregation requirements your Organization needs.
- Reporting: Business Units are the primary filter for reporting within your account. Think about your reporting needs when deciding how to structure these units.

Return Item Collections and Items
Before exploring Collections, it's important to understand what Items are. Simply put, it's the item you intend to ship—the contents placed inside Inmark's Packaging.
A Collection is a grouping of multiple Items. Collections are valuable for:
- Reporting: Analyze data within a single collection or compare multiple collections.
- Organization: Making it easier for both administrators and users to locate specific Items.
For the best results, ensure that each item entered in Inmark SaaS accurately reflects the real-world item, down to its most distinctive details. This approach improves searchability, makes the system more intuitive, and enhances reporting capabilities for administrators.

User Management

Inmark provides default Shipping Configurations and carrier support for all supported regions, allowing you to begin shipping immediately—without additional setup or planning.
This means you can start using Inmark SaaS confidently, knowing that shipping within Inmark's supported geographies is fully managed for you.
Digital Documents
Inmark SaaS supports custom workflows through its Digital Documents functionality, making it easy to manage internal documentation, customer-facing materials, and more. All Digital Documents in Inmark SaaS fall into one of two classifications:
- Fulfillment-Type Documents: These are included in applicable orders and form part of the fulfillment process.
- Reference-Type Documents: These are always available for download in Inmark SaaS and can be accessed both before and after an order is placed.
This simple classification system ensures your documents are organized and accessible when you need them.
